The Moore Tennis Academy offers a wide range of activities for all levels of adult players. If you are a beginner, past (rusty) player or an accomplished active player, we have something for you!
TUESDAY’S & THURSDAY’S POWER HOUR ( 9 – 10am ) Open to all levels, power hour is an hour of hitting tons of tennis balls while keeping that heart rate up. A fantastic way to get your workout in and work on your tennis strokes at the same time.
WEDNESDAY’S DOUBLES STRATEGY ( 8:30 – 10am ) Open to those players possessing a 3.0 NTRP rating or better. Learn strategy that gets right to the point and will help you have a true understanding of the dynamics of doubles play. One hour of strategy and drills followed by ½ hour of doubles play.
FRIDAY’S DOUBLES DAY A ½ hour “tip of the day” followed by one hour of doubles round robin play. Open to all levels.
SATURDAY’S PRACTICE CLINIC Saturday Practice is our most popular clinic. A number of “player sustained” drill situations are created by the pro and the students hit off themselves for more of a reality practice environment. Players must be of 3.0 NTRP level or higher for these fun, competitive sessions. Often, we offer a children’s sports camp in conjunction with the Saturday clinic, call for details.
PRIVATE & PRIVATE GROUPS Our Director of Tennis, Charlie Moore and our Head Pro, David Perry are available for both private instruction and specialty group clinics. Call the Academy to speak with either Charlie or David.
EVENING MIXERS & TEAM PLAY We will be hosting fun evening events throughout the season. We also are the home to USTA teams who play competitively throughout the Valley.
